Screen resolution

Screen resolution is the number of pixels on the display. Millions of pixels are needed to produce an image on a display. The higher the resolution, the better the resolution.

HD / 720 P
-----------
Today, the minimum resolution for most smartphones, monitors, and TVs is 720 P (HD). The pixel measurement of HD is 1280 x 720 pixels. Regardless of the screen size, 1280 x 720 pixels is called HD (High Definition).

Full HD / 1080P
-----------------
Full HD pixel measurement is 1920 × 1080, also known as 1080p, which is now the standard resolution for most smartphones and TVs.

QHD / 1440P / 2K
-----------------
Quad HD is four times larger than the standard resolution HD / 720p, at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Also known as 1440p, it has around 4 million pixels. 2K is called 2560 × 1440, so more than 2000 is called 2K.

4K
-----------------
The real 4K is 4096 x 2160 pixels
Used only in professional productions and digital cinemas.

8K
-----------
The 8K is eight times larger than Full HD 1080p and has a standard aspect ratio of 16: 9 with 7680 × 4320 pixels. It is still very rare in the current market except for 8K TVs.
