How to use Function Key (F1 to F12)


Today I would like to share some useful pictures of Function key (F1 to F12) on the top of a computer keyboard.

You can use F1 ~ open source software if you need help. The Help screen is displayed. Pressing Ctrl will hide the menu bar in Microsoft Excel / Word.

F2 ~ Click Folder or File once and press F2 to rename. You can also use it when you go to the Bios setting. Press Ctrl and it will display a print preview in Microsoft Word.

F3 ~ Windows Explore displays the search box. Clicking on the browser also displays the search bar.

F4 ~ You can close the currently open software or windows explore by pressing Alt.

F5 ~ Can be used to refresh on desktop and browser. You can use it as a slideshow in Microsoft Powerpoint.

F6 ~ While using the browser, pressing F6 activates the address bar. You can easily switch between Microsoft Word files by simultaneously pressing Ctrl + Shift F6. (Split screen)

F7 ~ Can be used with Alt to check spelling and grammar in Microsoft Word.

F8 ~ When Windows starts, press F8 to enter the Boot Menu (Safe Mode). If you press F8, the boxes will not appear in the same box as you did in Excel (Multiselect).

F9 ~ Can be used to refresh a document in Microsoft Word.

F10 ~ Used to activate the menu of running software. Maximizes it by pressing Ctrl on the keyboard. It can be used as a right click on Shift.

You can use it to switch to F11 ~ Full Screen Mode.

F12 ~ You can use it to save the file. You can also use it to save it by pressing Shift. On some computers, you can use the boot menu.
